Butterfly Birthday items-Question

It has been posted here a few times that the quality of the new AGT Butterfly birthday items is very poor. before the reviews had come in I already ordered a set of the acessories and tableware for DD.

Well, they came in last night and I am very disappointed. Even DH who has no real interest in AG at all thought that it was not a good set.

but now my question is what did those of you who ordered the set do with them? It is not really worth it to send them back to AG. What did you do with them? I don't want to hang on to them. I think DD may enjoy some of the items but it is not worth it to keep it for the 1 item that DD will enjoy.

I think that I will wait to get a tableware set until DD chooses her historical doll. Even then it will be about 2 years before she is old enough for some of the nicer sets that the historicals have. I am just very disapointed.

Any suggestions?

do you ever make a trip into the store? You could return it there too, and at least save on the postage.

I did not realize that you could return items you bought online to the store. That may be a good solution..thanks!

PS-i have never sold anything on ebay but would feel bad about selling such an inferior item to anyone.

I agree! Take it back. Then they will know the item is garbage.
